Summary
Soybean is a new crop in Bangladesh. To establish large scale cultivation and tilization requires time, especially when a society suffers from food taboos, inadequate financing, and insufficient facilites for research and development. Thus far, progress has been made in developing improved cultivars and crop management practives and in the production of soil inoculum. This paper presents information on indigenous soybean cultivation patterns and cropping systems. [AS]
