Abstract

Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea L. var. botrytis L.) is one of the popular vegetables humans usually eat. The edible part is its inflorescence which is also the breeding goal. The traits include color, shape, height, and so on. In the event of extreme climate, plants will face more abiotic stress such as drought or flooding. However, the traditional method of breeding selection lacks accuracy and efficiency. Therefore, the invention of a high-throughput phenotyping machine showed up. In this experiment, we will use TraitFinder, an easily movable highthroughput phenotyping machine, to assist the fieldwork. As the result shows, the 3D modeling by TraitFinder has some limitations: inevitable shading parts, and unclear organs behind leaves. In the case of the abiotic stress response, the growth parameter truly reflects the growth condition of them
