評估黃綠色(70種)、墨綠色(15種)、尼龍白菜(18種)、半結球白菜(7種)與結球白菜(9種)等五種類型的白菜商業品種種原共119種對十字花科蔬菜黑腐病菌混合菌株之抗性,發病指數低於25%為抗病等級,25-50%為中抗等級,50-75%為感病等級,75-100%為極感病等級。評估結果僅有1種黃綠色類型為抗病,25種(包含10種黃綠色、2種墨綠色、7種尼龍白菜、5種半結球與1種結球白菜等類型)為中抗病等級。進行黑腐病菌生理小種(race)1或4菌株接種評估抗耐黑腐病菌之白菜單株自交後裔(F_2或S_1)51個品系進行黑腐病菌生理小種(race)1或4菌株接種評估,22個黃綠色類型品系評估結果2個兼中抗race1與4;6個墨綠色類型品系中,有2個兼抗race 1與4;2個尼龍白菜類型品系評估對黑腐病菌race 1抗性,其中1個為race 1中抗病等級,不抗race 4;10個半結球類型品系中,1個兼具中抗race 1與抗race 4,3個兼具中抗race 1與4;11個結球類型品系中,1個兼具中抗race 1與抗race 4,4個兼具中抗race 1與4。結果顯示可以育成兼抗黑腐病生理小種1與4白菜品種。
Evaluation of the resistance to black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris) among 119 accessions of Brassica rapa germplasm which including 70 yellowish green leaf type, 15 dark green leaf type, 18 Thailand type, 7 semi-heading type and 9 heading type had been done with mixture isolate by spraying inoculation. Disease index less than 25% is defined as resistance level (R), 25-50% is moderate resistance (MR), 50-75% is susceptible level (S) and 75-100% is highly susceptible (HS). Only one accession of yellowish green leaf type showed the resistant level (R), 25 accessions displayed moderate resistant level (MR) including 10 yellowish green leaf type, 2 dark green leaf type, 7 Thailand type, 5 semi-heading type and 1 heading type. The progenies (F_2 or S_1) from accessions that are resistant to black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris) isolates were further evaluated the resistance under race 1 or race 4 of black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris). Twenty-two accessions of yellowish green leaf type had been assessed their resistance to race 1 or 4. Two accessions showed moderate resistant (MR) to race 1 and 4. Two of six accessions of dark green leaf type displayed the resistant (R) to race 1 and 4. For the Thailand type only one accession exhibited the moderate resistant (MR) to race 1. Ten accessions of semi-heading type had been accessed their resistant to race 1 or 4. One accessions demonstrated moderate resistant (MR) to race 1 and resistant (R) to race 4. Three accessions were demonstrated moderate resistance (MR) to race 1 and 4. Eleven accessions of heading type had been accessed their resistance to race 1 or 4. One accession was both moderate resistant (MR) to race 1 and resistant (R) to race 4. Four accessions were both moderate resistant (MR) to race 1 and 4. It is possible for Brassica rapa to breed a cultivar that is resistant to race 1 and 4 of black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris).
