This document aims to provide a framework for the efficient and effective conservation of genetic resources of Capsicum crops. The Crop Trust supported this initiative and commissioned the World Vegetable Center and the San Diego Botanic Garden to coordinate the development of the strategy. The overall objective is to outline shared responsibilities and needs for the long-term conservation of these genetic resources and to facilitate their use for food security and sustainable agriculture.
