Summary
Eight fungicidal formulations were evaluated for their ability to control soybean rust. Saprol, Delan, Macuprax, and Dithane M-45 effectively reduced the spread of the disease, but without any statistical difference among them. Kilex and Difolatan were moderately effective, while Bavistin and RH 124 were ineffective. Delan and Seprol gave an almost three-fold increase in grain yield. Yield increase due to applications of Kilex, Macuprax, and Dithane M-45 were negligible. [PLH/EMS]
