Summary
A field experiment was conducted during kharif of 2012 on biochemical attributes in blackgram (DU-1). Measurement of biophysical parameters was done using the Infrared Gas Analyzer (IRGA). Results revealed that on photosynthetic rate (mole CO2 m-2 s-1), transpiration rate (m mole H2O m-2 s-1) the application of MnSO4 (0.3%) had significantly increased followed by MgSO4 (0.5%) had significantly higher the photosynthesis and transpiration rate at both the stages, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll (mg g-1 fir wt) content was significantly increased the application of FeSO4 (0.3%), ZnSO4 (0.3%)+FeSO4 (0.3%) followed by MgSO4 (0.5%).
