Abstract
This report covers the research work that was done at AVRDC from 1978 to 1982 through a USDA contract. Topics covered include host range; the effect of planting date and soybean growth stages on rust development; the effect of moisture on rust development; the relationship between environment, plant growth and lesion number; and the development of rust resistant breeding lines.
