Summary
Tomato cultivation, especially during autumn in North India and during summer in South India is adversely affected due to the high incidence of tomato leaf curl virus (ToLCV) disease. Nine genotypes of tomato (JKTH-3098, TLBRH-6, H-24, ARTH-734, ARTH-1001, ANUP-1113, TBK-01113, TLBRH-2 and Punjab Chhuhara), including one susceptible checks ('Punjab Chhuhara') were evaluated in autumn season (July-December, 2006-07) against tomato leaf curl virus disease under natural epiphytotic conditions. Disease reaction of each genotype was assigned. Lines JKTH-3098, ARTH-734, ARTH-1001 and TLBRH-2 were highly resistant whereas, 100% Disease incidence was recorded on the susceptible check.
