Summary
At present, useful primers in the study of cucumber germplasm are scarce, in this study, 23 SSR primers are selected from the 995 primers of cucumber genome linkage map, the 23 SSR primers distribute on the linkage map uniformly and can amplify clear, stable and single bands, using these markers, the genetic diversity of 30 cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) accessions from different countries or regions was detected, and 153 polymorphism bands were got. Genetic diversity differs among 23 primers. The expected heterozygosity of detected resources is 0.57, and the average of PIC (Polymorphism information content) value is 0.60. The results distinctly prove the genetic diversity among Asian,\n European and India resources by 23 primers and objectively reflect information including population structure and regional differences.
