Summary
The resistance of Lycopersicon hidutum L YC4 to Botrytis cinerea was evaluated by inoculating spore suspension to seedlings, and leaf, stem, fruit segments. The results showed that the disease index was 0 in both seedlings and detached-leaves, the relative stem infection rate and fruit rot expansion rate were 0 and 5.7 %, respectively. For this reason, the L. hirdutum LYC4 is considered to be highly resistant to tomato gray mold.
