Summary
A field experiment was conducted during rabi 2000 at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore to evaluate the variation and correlation of grain quality characters. All the genotypes revaled high significant variability for the six quality characters studied. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance was observed for final batter volume. The assocation study of different quality characters indicated that grain yield was significantly associated with apparent grain volume.
