Summary
Kangbing 948 is a new watermelon hybrid from China that is characterized by good quality and high yield, and resistance to gummy stem blight, Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. This moderately early cultivar (can be harvested at approximately 33 days after flowering) produces a round, light green fruit (5-8 kg) with a thin and tough skin covered with dark green stripes, and a crisp, dark pink flesh with a high juice content and soluble solid content of 13%.
