Summary
Soyabeans (Glycine max) cv. 5601T (PI 630984), an F6-derived line from the cross Hutcheson x TN89-39, was released in 2001 for its high yield potential throughout broad geographical regions of the southern USA. The cultivar is resistant to stem canker caused by Diaporthe phaseolorum var. caulivora, soyabean mosaic virus and Meloidogyne incognita, and moderately resistant to M. arenaria.
