The time taken for H. undatus cv. Vietnam flower buds to reach anthesis (31.1 cm long) was 17 days. Anthesis occurred from sunset to the following sunrise and the flower reached its greatest diameter (23.4 cm) at around 01.00 h. Fruit growth showed a single sigmoid pattern. The red fruit (average weight 339 g) was harvested 33 days after anthesis and total soluble solids reached 19.5?Brix.
