The nine treatments of organic manures and fertilizers viz., (1) 100: 37.5: 37.5 kg NPK, (2) 20 t FYM, (3) 10 t FYM + 50 : 18.75 : 37.5 kg NPK, (4) 4 t Vermicompost, (5) 1.7 t Neem cake, (6) 200: 37.5: 37.5 kg NPK, (7) 50: 37.5 : 75 kg NPK, (8) 0.85 t Neem cake + 50: 18.75: 18.75 kg NPK and (9) Control were evaluated against whitefly infesting brinjal at N.M. College of Agriculture, Navsari (Gujarat) during 1992-94 at 1994-95. The intensity of whitefly adults was significantly more at higher levels of nitrogen (T6). Whereas, significantly less in control (T9) it was at par with T2, T4, T5 and T7. There was not much variation observed in feeding preference, developmental period and growth index due to various treatments.
