Summary
Two Chinese cabbage heat-tolerant F1 hybrids Ching-Long 200 and Ching Long 600 were produced based on the heat-tolerant germplasm in Taiwan. The hybrids retained most of the horticultural characteristics i.e. flavour and texture of other widely used cultivars in Taiwan and can be used for commercial production during the summer season. The pedigree and characteristics are described.
