Summary
Grafting experiments with bitter gourd [Momordica charantia] on Luffa rootstocks showed good compatibility, with 81.5% survival. Grafted plants grew vigorously during the later stages of growth and produced good quality fruits; they had increased nematode resistance. Yield of grafted plants was 38.4% higher than that of ungrafted plants.
