Summary
Metroglyph and index score analysis were done to stdy the morphological variations in 24 mungbean lines (Vigna radiata L.). The lines were grouped into four categories. Three groups were classified with the lines having distinct characters while the other one was classified with the line that showed intermediate values in some characters. The lines showing intermediate values for some characters exhibited low variability. Among the lines studied, M-7706, M-0033 and MK-19 are considered to have commercial value since they are early in flowering and higher seed yielder per plant. [AS]
