Summary
Investigations were carried out at the College of Agriculture, Pune by using twelve multiple cropping systems of vegetable crops with a view to studying the effects of multiple cropping systems on the number of soil bacteria and fungi. The studies indiciated that the multiple cropping systems of legume vegetables stimulated the fungal as well as bacteria population to as considerable extent. [AS]
