Summary
Optimization of carbon and nitrogen sources for fermentation of Hrp - mutant of Ralstonia solanacearum was conducted applying full factorial design and orthogonal analysis under the condition of flask fermentation. The best carbon sources were glucose and fine corn flour. The best nitrogen sources were (N ) 2 SO 4 and bean cake powder. Based on the orthogonal test, the best formulation of carbon and nitrogen sources was gained, which was glucose 8 g, fine com flour 5 g, bean cake powder 35 g and (NH4)2S042 g in 1 L medium. The bacterial biomass was increased from 1.34 X 1010 cfu Iml to 3.30 X 1010 cfu/ml.
